PROJECTs!
(Accomplished, Working On, Failed, Discontinued, etc.)

Since I was a child, I've always had this itch that urged me to try out a bunch of new things. My surroundings never failed to appease my appetite to learn and explore the ways of the world. This sense of alacrity is paramount to my various attempts at concretizing my outrageous thought experiments.
Without further ado, I proudly present to you the aftermath of the itch.
What the shell
Status: Hiatus
Period: May 2017 to December 2017
Category: Media, Society, Illustrations
What the Shell was essentially our (Jasmaine and I) passion project. We aimed to create a community that inspired one another to engage in deep and meaningful conversations, as well as one that pursued their own passion projects, which we believed are solutions to current societal issues.
It had two main sections: Community Stories and The Jargon Comics.
The Albananas
Status: Hiatus
Period: October 2017
Category: Illustrations
In our household, my parents deem it a necessity to consume a banana after every meal. This became a driving force for a new idea. While I was brushing my teeth one night, I conceived a humorous thought: "I should take pictures of every banana I eat and doodle on them". Presented below are the fruits of my labor!
Gardening
Status: Hiatus
Period: (March 2016 to Feb 2017)
Category: Passion, Environment
The summer of 2016 marked the start of my gardening career. Though started on a whim, growing plants became a stronger passion. It took over my conversations with my friends as I searched for better ways to care for my children.

Cardboard Airplane
Status: Accomplished
Period: June 2015
Category: Passion
Back in 2015, my friend and I had a contest on who can make a better cardboard airplane. After countless times of getting burnt by the glue gun, I'm proud to say that I won this contest. This project, showing me the versatility of cardboard, gave rise to the cardboard enthusiast in me.

The Creative Teen Competition 2015 was a competition that encouraged high school students to pursue their passions. I entered the Short Film's category as I was deeply engaged in filmmaking at the time. Over the course of 5 months, I worked tirelessly on my short film. Ultimately, my submission won People's Choice Award.
